Acceptance council at the grassroots level of the project: Reviewing, adjusting the planning for forest protection, restoration and sustainable development in the Central Highlands up to 2025 with orientation to 2030

The project “Reviewing, adjusting the planning for forest protection, restoration and sustainable development in the Central Highlands up to 2025 with an orientation to 2030” was implemented by the venture of Institute for Forest Ecology and Environment and Research Institute for Forest Ecology and Environmental. Up to now, the project has finished reports and adjusted planning maps. On December 1st, 2017, at room 301, A3 building, Forest Protection Department, acceptance council at the grassroots level was carried out to evaluate the project results.

Under the directions of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Vietnam Administration of Forestry, The Forest Protection Department organized the acceptance council at grassroots for the project “Reviewing, adjusting the planning for forest protection, restoration and sustainable development in the Central Highlands up to 2025 with an orientation to 2030”. At 8h30 AM, 01/12/2017 acceptance council at the grassroots level was carried out to evaluate the project results with members:

  • Mr. Doan Hoai Nam – Vice director of Forest Protection Department – Chairman
  • Mr. Pham Xuan Hoan – Member of Vietnam Forest Science – First Reviewer
  • Mr. Bui Chinh Nghia – Vice director of Department of Forestry Production Development – Second Reviewer
  • Mr. Tran Quang Bao – Director of the Second Campus – Member
  • Mr. Nguyen Trong Bang – Official of Department of Planning and Finance – Member
  • Mr. Phan Van Thang – Director of Nontimber Forest Products Center, Vietnam Academy of Forest Science
  • Mr. Nguyen Nam Son – Official of Forest Development Department – Member
  • Mr. Nguyen Danh Thai Hai – Deputy head of Division – Forest management and protection Division, Forest Protection Department – Member
  • Mr. Tran Manh Long – Deputy Chief of Office – Forest Protection Department – Secretary

At the acceptance day, the members of council proposed comments about project results and required consultant units to adjust, complete in order to submit to Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for approving and public. Some photos of acceptance council:
