Training course on Using QGIS in Forestry management

From Feb 26 to 28, 2021, the IFEE held a training on "Using QGIS in forestry management" at Meeting Room E, Building A3, VNUF. Participants in the training course were staffs working at IFEE and some technical staffs from Hanoi FPD, Ninh Binh FPD, Hoa Binh FPD, Hoa Binh and Nghe An Forest Protection and Development Funds.

V5PFES software which runs in the environment of MapInfo (above version 10.5) aims to support for Forest Protection and Development Fund in the provincial level as well as the national level to manage data and development of the PFES Map following the Circular No. 22 issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Coastal forest protection and development in Vietnam

Project "Improving resilience of vulnerable coastal communities to climate change – related impacts in Viet Nam" funded by Green Climate Fund (GCF) through UNDP in Vietnam. Institute for Forest Ecology and Environment is the consultancy firm to develop database for the management, monitoring and evaluation of coastal forest changes in the whole country and each province.
