Institute for Forest Ecology and Environment is the consulting unit for the task of: "Updating and adjusting the forest inventory and transition database into Payment For Environmental Services map of Hoa Binh province". To implement the activities of the mission, on October 22, 1818, at the Forest Protection Department of Da Bac district, the district meeting took place with representatives of the Forest Protection and Development Fund of Hoa Binh province, Provincial Forest Protection Department, Da Bac District People's Committee, Da Bac District Forest Protection Department, Consulting Unit.

At the meeting, the members presented and discussed the contents:
  • Propagandizing and disseminating policies and guidelines for payment for environmental services.
  • Approve the plan and methodology for the review of forest status for payment for environmental services in Da Bac district.
  • Detailed planning to review the status of forests in service of payment for forest environmental services for each commune/town.
Work plan: District level meeting; Develop a working plan with communes; Working with villages; The conference agreed on district data from October 22, 2018, to November 15,
In order to ensure the progress and quality of the mission, the Forest Ecology Institute has developed the plan For other districts:
  • Tan Lac district: from 16/11/2018 to 10/12/2018.
  • Mai Chua district: from 11/12/2018 to 31/12/2018.
  • Cao Phong District: from 2/1/2019 to 20/1/2019.
  • Lac Son district: from 21/1/2019 to 28/2/2019.
  • Hoa Binh city: from 1/3/2019to 14/3/2019.
  • Ky Son district: from 15/3/2019 to 22/3/2019.
Based on the actual situation, Institute of Ecology and Environment can adjust the work plan to suit the schedule.
