2. Transformation of seed forests
Results in 2015, the project has been transformed and recognized seed sources for 13 hectares of transformed seed forest, including (Cinnamon : 4 ha, Docynia indica: 5 ha in Yen Bai province and 4 ha, Pinus latteri in Nghe An province). ), three transgenic seed forests with a large area, stable fruit development, provide high quality seeds for afforestation of the province and neighboring provinces every year, about 9,000 kg, thereby producing about 19 million good seedlings, meeting about 14,000 hectares of new plantations.Some pictures of transformed seed forest.

3. Building breeding forests

4. Building seed orchards
In 2015, the project has built 10 hectares of seed orchards, of which there are 02 sexual seed orchards: Pinus latteri (04 ha) in Nghe An, Cinnamon (04 ha) in Yen Bai and Trai Yen The clonal seed orchards (02 ha ) in Bac Giang.These nurseries, built from dominant tree families, clones based on fixed and approved diagrams.Some pictures of seed orchards.

5. Building gardens to collect forest special trees
In order to conserve precious genetic resources of forest specialty species, in 2015, the project has built 02 gardens of forest specialty trees, 01 garden at Tam Duong PFMB, Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province and 01 garden at Vietnam University of Forestry in Chuong My district, Ha Noi, the plants in the garden are grown into blocks, each garden has more than 15 species of trees, these plants are all specialty trees representing ecological areas where set up a garden, plants grow well and are managed and monitored annually.Some pictures of gardens of specialty forest plantations in 2015.

6. Training and technology transfer
The project has organized 06 training courses on breeding, propagation, seedling breeding and forest conversion techniques in localities where the project is organized, each class has a number of students from 35 to 50 people, the trainees are equipped with the basic knowledge and principles in breeding, propagation, garden construction - seedling forest, seedling transformation, practice, with the dedicated guidance of the leading experts .After the course of 100%, students can extract and transplant ... and master the techniques of breeding and building seedlings ... 7. Basic construction
